Xperia duo – supposed first picture leaked (Update)

We all know that in most likelihood Sony Ericsson is due to launch its own dual-core Android offering at some point. This is widely tipped to be named the Xperia duo, which has already been trademarked by the company.

Now we have what is believed to be the first picture of the Xperia duo. It looks like a stretched out Xperia arc, with a near edge-to-edge front display and a similar three button set up on the bottom. Judging by the picture, we’d expect this to be running a 4.5-inch display compared to the 4.2-inch Xperia arc. It also seems a bit rounder in shape (almost HTC-esque) compared to the more angular Xperia arc. Of course, this image may very well be fake, however hopefully it won’t be too long before we start to see some concrete information. Check out a larger picture after the jump.

Update: Another picture has emerged of the Xperia Duo from a slightly different angle. It shows the back also has a concave back much like the Xperia arc. Check it out below.
